Mavis and Bretz is an exciting duo based in Bend OR. Craig Mavis on Mandolin and piano and George Bretz on guitar. Both have been around the Central Oregon music scene for many years. Craig is a 17 year veteran of "Blackstrap Bluegrass" playing bass as well as a touring musician playing keyboards in the late 1970's rock band. George is a multi instrumentalist playing fiddle, banjo and guitar supporting other groups, playing Contra dances and performing in fiddle competitions throughout the state.

Expect a mix of originals alongside recognizable, but creatively reimagined covers. Pete is also the frontman of the rock band Keroscenery and an upright bassist for Seattle-based Jessie Thoreson and the Crown Fire.
