Come in costume on Saturday, October 31 and leave with a treat. Mario mustaches, scarecrows, skeletons, bee antennae and full yetis all count, and the grown ups are encouraged to outdo the kids.

Grab a glass, warm up by the fire, and enjoy the ranch looking its spooky best, noon to 8.

Join Sisters Art Station for a relaxing evening of creativity, connection, and beginner-friendly watercolor instruction on Sunday, October 25, from 12 to 2 p.m. Guests will enjoy learning watercolor techniques in a fun, welcoming atmosphere and leave with 1–3 finished pieces on high-quality watercolor paper. Join us for Bees & Brews (and Mead!)—a casual monthly meet-up for local beekeepers and those interested in bees to connect, swap stories, and talk shop.

This Friday, come join Aidan Moye, Justin Little and Taylor Rheault at the Lazy-Z Tasting Room from 6-8 PM for a different kind of musical evening. Justin and Aidan will be playing their original songs, and a few covers, with an important twist- you will be invited to join in. Song sheets (lyrics + chords) will be provided to anyone wanting to sing or play along, and add to the unique form the songs will take. Bring an instrument, your voice, or just your presence, and help shape the music of the evening - all while enjoying a glass of local mead or some other tasty beverage or snack of your choice! Beginner to advanced musicians welcome.

Celebrate National Mead Day at Lazy Z Ranch Wines in Sisters on Saturday, October 3, from noon to 8 p.m.

Mead is wine made from honey, and ours begins with honey from our ranch and Oregon beekeepers. Come try a flight, find a favorite, and spend a fall afternoon overlooking the ranch. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to discover mead, this is a good one.

Haystack Jack Band features four fine musicians from Sisters – Steve Vujnovich (guitars), Sue Moore (bass), Rick Moore (guitar/mandolin), and Scott Crabtree (guitar/percussion/harmonica/trumpet). They each sing as well and contribute their own unique ingredients to a rich musical stew of original songs and folk-rock covers.

The band has a truly eclectic sound, with killer harmonies and mesmerizing interplay between the variety of instruments that might come out on any given song. Their songs will touch you, their songs will rock you, and they’ll stay with you! Covers include songs by Neil Young, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Kenny Wayne Shepard, and the Eagles.

Join Citizens4Community for a free, family-friendly showing of Disney and Pixar’s A Bug’s Life on the lawn beside the big red barn. Come early to visit the Think Wild interpretive booth, meet some real bugs, learn a little about the work we do at the ranch to support pollinators, and get settled before the movie begins on a giant 16-foot inflatable screen.

Beland makes music for the dreamers of the world— for the people who stare longingly out the passenger window on long drives and get lost inside their daydreams, for the people-watchers at the park, for the person sitting alone and journaling at the cafe, for the gardeners, collectors, and tender-hearted romantics.

Lane Weiss is a former music teacher and a retired school superintendent.  He has a degree in music and has been playing music professionally for over 50 years.  He has taught private music lessons, done singing telegrams, and played in a wide variety of music performing groups.  He is currently performing solo.  In addition to guitar, saxophone, piano, and keyboards, he also plays the string harp, banjo, and bass.

Hana Fleur is a touring folk/americana artists known for her momentous voice, honest story telling, and grounded songwriting. She has a charming and magnetic spirit with rich vocals that stop audience members in their tracks. 

Her work has been recognized  by NPR, highlighting her as a voice to watch in contemporary americana music. 

Special Labor Day Hours!

The Cider Janes was born from a longing to make music and human connection during the COVID19 pandemic. These three friends turned socially-distanced, pajama-wearing, cider-drinking get-togethers into harmony-filled, soul-nourishing sound sessions. Naomi LaViolette, Aliyih Bristol and Heather Schrock are the three women who weave their distinct voices together to bring you a combination of unforgettable, haunting, and toe-tapping covers and originals that will include a little something for everyone.

Long Gone Wilder has been playing a mix of rock, country, and blues favorites  around Central Oregon for over 5 years. The trio of Lawrence, Jason and Brian loves nothing more than tipping a glass and enjoying some good tunes with new friends in the audience. 

Rick Smith has performed live for over thirty years with Steppin Out, The Untouchables, and The Coupe de Ville Band. Rick is now a solo entertainer playing country/rock, blues, and funk.

Sidney Joseph is a multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter composer who's greatest passion has been music since he was a wee little lad. He has a storied Philadelphia past. From fronting the power trio Home Baked Habitat to slapping bass in the groovy Philadelphia Toboggan Co. Most recently playing drums in the soulternative band AfroBear. Now the smokey voiced singer can be found performing solo gigs with his wore down Martin acoustic guitar. Currently working on and performing new songs along with tried and true originals.

Portland, OR based Dumpster Joe & Taylor Thomas play jazz, country blues and jugband tunes from the 1920’s and 30’s on res-o-phonic guitar and cello. They seamlessly mix genres, and present everything in a unique string-band style that is sure too delight young and old. Once they get too serenadin’ and syncopatin’ a good time is guaranteed to be had by all!

Erin Cole-Baker is an independent singer-songwriter and folk-Americana artist known for her velvety vocals, rich melodies, and intimate storytelling. Born in Santa Barbara, California, she moved with her family to the rural, beachside community of Whangarei Heads in Northland, New Zealand, at a young age. Raised in a deeply musical household, she began her musical journey with classical piano before later expanding into jazz, guitar, and songwriting.

Drawn back to the American West's folk scene in her early twenties, Erin and her husband settled in Bend, Oregon, after attending the Sisters Folk Festival. She quickly became a prominent fixture in Central Oregon's music community, performing as part of the folk duo The Erins and releasing acclaimed solo albums like Talon and Spur (2009) and Big Sky (2011). Following a brief return to New Zealand to raise her daughters, she broke a seven-year hiatus in 2018 with her critically praised live-to-tape album Till the Feeling's Right. Today, she continues to write, record, and perform her deeply evocative music across both the Pacific Northwest and New Zealand.

Lilli Worona is a Central Oregon based singer-songwriter, fiddle player, and acoustic guitarist known for her heartfelt lyrics, vocal prowess and dynamic performances.
