Join the Bee Team! Help sustain a colony of Lazy Z Ranch honey bees!
Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, for your recurring generosity, you will receive a Lazy Z Bee Team hat (HALF Hive or more), and ANNUALLY:
QUARTER Hive Sustainer = THREE 1-pound jars of honey
HALF Hive Sustainer = SIX 1-pound jars (or a HALF-gallon bucket) of honey
WHOLE Hive Sustainer = TWELVE 1-pound jars (or a ONE-gallon bucket) of honey
Your generosity helps cover the following expenses:
Replacing of hardware for one bee hive as needed, including bottom board, brood chamber, honey super, 20 frames, inner cover, and lid.
Re-queening a struggling hive, as needed.
Supplemental feeding of sugar syrup and/or pollen, as needed.
Touching up the high quality exterior paint to protect the hives from wild Central Oregon weather.
Pest control materials.
Please Note: Honey production is a natural process contingent on our bee and plant friends, and is vulnerable to unpredictable changes in weather. You are committing to help establish and sustain honeybee colonies, not purchasing honey, and all future honey allocations are subject to unforeseeable delay and/or cancellation. In the event of such a cancelation, no refunds will be available. At fall honey harvest, honey allocation amounts are based on the amount of payments made since the previous honey harvest. First Year Subscribers: May-August = 1/3 Share, January-April = 2/3 Share, September-December = Following Fall Full Share. Cancelation of subscription will forfeit all unfulfilled honey allocations as of the date of cancelation. Successful honey harvests at the ranch have already occurred in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Know that all of the plants, animals, and people at the Lazy Z Ranch will be doing everything within our ability to ensure you are enjoying Central Oregon honey as soon and as regularly as possible!
